Molly Neptune Parker (1939–2020) Indian Township main was an American basket weaver. Known for her artistry at making traditional basket weaving processes and developing a unique style of her own spectacular designs. She was a teacher of the traditional artform and well known among the community. Especially with an acorn design and strawberry shaped baskets. She would spend much time on the process making her in high commercial demand. Her professional career led to receiving the National Endowment for the arts Heritage Fellowship and national recognition to include tribal leadership. Her craft was a revered family tradition and encompassed much work and skill.
