How Can We Help?

Charlotte B. Senneff (1934-2017) Alpine, Texas
“I paint in watercolor & acrylic, and I enjoy painting landscapes & seascapes. I use my paintings to tell stories. I have been with the Big Bend Arts Council since its inception. Over the years, my paintings have been displayed in West Texas National Bank, Museum of the Big Bend, Big Bend Regional Medical Center, several retail establishments, and Davis Mountains State Park.”
At an early age, I found that drawing and coloring was easy and a lot of fun. In First Grade, an art teacher visited once a week. The hour flew and I looked forward to the coming week. Over the years, I created posters for a variety of events. I also created newsletters and cookbooks for several groups.
In college, I studied art history and art appreciation, and took a practical art course which had two objectives: One to help artists develop their own style and one to develop a working knowledge of all the art mediums.
My mediums of work are watercolor and acrylic.
My associations have been with the Friday Art Group for 10 years and the Big Bend Arts Council since its inception. Under the auspices of these two groups, my works have been shown in a museum, art gallery, a one-woman show in a local bank, the local hospital, Davis Mountains State Park, the Mountain Country Christmas, and several retail establishments.
Charlotte’s cards can also be purchased at Gallery on the Square in Alpine, Texas.
