Marie Cosindas (1923-2017)
Marie Cosindas (1923-2017) Boston Massachusetts is known for still life. She studied at the high school of practical arts Roxbury, Massachusetts and attended the Modern School of Fashion and Design she studied painting the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. She quickly noticed the use of color photography. She would collect a variety of vintage artistic objects, porcelain, flowers, or even including people and photograph them in still life. She was to pick up on the importance of color photography and used Polaroid film. She dissented from traditional black and white and tonal photography early in the 1960’s.
